We read every message. The most useful ones tell us that something is wrong, out of date or missing — if you have spotted an error, please include a link to the page and, if you can, the official source that shows the correct information.

We cannot answer questions about your individual eligibility, orders or benefits — a recruiter, your chain of command or the VA can.

Before you write

  • We are not the Navy. NavyMentor is an independent publication. For enlistment questions, contact a recruiter through Navy.com.
  • We cannot give individual advice about eligibility, medical waivers, orders, pay or benefits claims.
  • Brands: we do not sell placements in our buying guides. See our editorial policy.
